Age: Undetermined, I would estimate that he is about 75 years old, since he was banished for 50 years before Rosette found him, although in his adult form he looks early 20s.

Species: Devil/Demon
Sexuality: Straight, and committed to someone.
Appearance: His child and adult forms are basically the same: he wears a red cloak with sleeves that clasp in front of his chest and flares down like a tattered trench coat, and a white shirt underneath, with matching red pants. A maroon headband is worn around
his head and his ears are pointed, peeking out beneath his long purple hair, which is braided and tied off with a yellow ribbon. His eyes are red, although they reflect the calm, understanding nature that exists predominantly in Chrno.. unless he gets really angry.
When he transforms, his appearance changes rather drastically, taking on an outward appearance of at least ten years. He gets taller, he sprouts wings, and although his clothes remain the same he has bony plated armor and his ears are notably pointier and larger.
For this RP, he will be primarily in his 'adult' form.
Personality: Despite his threatening appearance, Chrno has a personality that might come off as a bit of a surprise. Not much has changed from his 'weakened' days; without his horns he was rather soft spoken, patient, and kind to people even though they stereotyped him with other demons. He does have a temper, though his patience prevents it from triggering too much.
Since he's worked with Rosette for quite some time, he's grown to compliment her personality. The two were drastic opposites: Rosette being loud and brash and Chrno being more reclusive and avoidant. It didn't take long for Chrno to have a thin patience, and push back when Rosette did, leading the two into arguments over silly topics. That didn't mean that Chrno hated being around her: on the contrary, he grew to care for her immensely, and was only trying to protect her. Being without his horns made him feel weak and useless, so he couldn't do anything directly to keep her safe. Having his horns back requires him to be protective of them as well: losing them raises the risk of someone finding them and putting them on. If a human puts on his horns, his powers transfer to them, and usually they can't control it.
He's also grown to appreciate little things, and smiles and laughs when he's with Rosette for no apparent reason at all. His happiness is definitely there, even moreso when they're together. After regaining his powers and losing her, he's not quite the same. It's like something is missing in his life. He doesn't smile, he's a lot more serious, though this is because he watched Rosette die. Seeing her in Manhattan will most likely revert him to how he used to be.
Abilities/Strengths: When Chrno isn't carrying around Rosette's weapons and is in his full demon form, Chrno is his own weapon. He can fly fast, and rip things apart with his claws. He's earned the nickname 'The Ten Million Killer' for slaughtering countless demons,
allowing Aion (when he worked with him) and the other Sinners to escape. He also has a tail (spined and pointy at the end) which he can use as well, to attack and deflect with.
Weaknesses: Chrno can die if he's impaled or decapitated or if he bleeds too much, and can also be stripped of all his powers if his horns are removed.
History: Chrno was once a very powerful, very feared Sinner in the society. He had his ideals of freedom and peace, and sympathized with Aion's similar ideas, joining up with him, although there was a slight tinge of regret inside Chrno. The attack on Pandemonium was
set, and Chrno joined the ranks to fight. The head of Pandemonium was obtained, and the sinners attempted to flee Eden. There was a big battle with the Sinners trying to escape, and Chrno ended up destroying 100 high ranked demons which allowed Aion and his
surviving comrades to escape, even though the lost the head they fought for.
Shortly after, Aion ordered Chrno to kidnap Mary Magdalene. He advanced and succeeded, even though opposition came to try to prevent him from doing this. Due to Mary's kind nature, Chrno warmed up to her, and he began to lose sight of Aion's ideals. Mary became
possessed by Pandemonium's head, and Aion ordered Chrno to behead her. Chrno refused and even prevented Aion from doing this himself, which ended in a duel against Aion and Chrno losing his horns, lost to Aion as he ripped them off Chrno's head. Chrno was unable
to kill Mary because she had confessed feelings for him even if he was to be the one who killed her. They both were cast from Eden and fell to Earth. They make the contract and agree to spend the last remaining moments of their life together. This doesn't last very
long as Aion comes down to Earth and stabs them both, killing Mary and wounding Chrno. The young Chrno is found crying over Mary's body.
As she is locked in the tomb, Chrno is locked up within it, agreeing to stay with her body to forever remember her. And over time, that is all he can really remember: his feelings for Mary and how much he missed her. He stayed in the tomb for 50 years until Rosette
and Joshua found him, and even though he told the two human children what he was they were still so fascinated by him that they came to visit him often. Even Rosette, who gave him cookies, showed no fear in front of him.
Aion appeared once more, and although he tempted Chrno to join him by returning his horns, Chrno stood up to him and said no. It was then revealed that Aion gave Chrno's horns to Joshua, and upon Rosette's urgency Chrno quickly transformed and brought her there. They
were too late however: Joshua had already attacked the orphanage, and Chrno had to pull Rosette away and fly her to safety so she wouldn't get trapped either.
They landed, and Chrno was rather weakened. Rosette was upset, and the two engaged in a conversation about a contract. Rosette stressed that she was willing to do anything to save Joshua, and even though Chrno did not wish to see Rosette hurt like Mary was over him,
he reluctantly agreed, handing over the pocket watch to her.
Rosette and Chrno were then taken in by the Order, she as a Sister and he as her partner and a special case. They have spent the last four years learning to fight demons and to work together, all in preparation to hunt down Aion and get Joshua back.
Their journeys brought them through many pit falls and allowed them to meet many people, traveling across the country (and getting himself sealed for a while), but eventually Chrno regained his horns and helped Rosette rescue Joshua. It did not last for very long, as shortly after Rosette died, and he stayed with her during her final moments of life.
Life went on without Rosette, but not without remembrance, days mixing together until he awoke in Manhattan.
